AgBase™ is an online business connection and match-making platform. Worldwide buyers and sellers can post availability of products to buy or sell for a wide range of agricultural, forestry and seafood products and services.
Today’s consumers are experiencing a strong and growing need to know more about the source, quality and availability of their food and beverage products.
AgBase meets this need through virtual “farmers” and “terminal” markets that use Internet technologies to bring together producers and consumers of food in a common marketplace. Sales and purchase opportunities, both local and more distance locations are available around the clock everyday of the week.

AgBase offers a unique service within the industries it operates, and came to NewEdge & The Brewery to create a brand, business strategy to enable growth and build a more functional and user-friendly website.
AgBase is the only company of its kind, and communicates with a specific target audience. By developing its brand and website, AgBase could open up to more businesses and consumers and raise awareness through simple online advertising to increase it’s site traffic and thus generate more income from site links and pay-per-click advertising.
Solution
Working alongside NewEdge, we created a cleaner, more contemporary brand identity, whilst keeping the heritage and equity that the brand had created since its conception.
A web template was designed to encourage visitors to interact more with the site and spend longer investigating the plethora of information available on the site. It also worked to help visitors get to the information quicker and easier than before to encourage more business transactions.
